Albion

Albion is an interesting German RPG from the year 1995 (the English version was released a year later, and already included the patch). It is partly in top-down, partly in 3D first person view, and has opulent arcade-like graphics at the uncommon resolution of 360×240. TFT screens often can't cope with it. The only other game I've seen using that resolution so far are Rainer Sinsch's Giana Sisters.

I played Albion for a while, but not very far, early in 2005, and took a total of 26 screenshots which you can all see here. The screenshots were taken under Windows 98 the usual Windows way (PrintScreen, Alt-Tab, paste into graphics program). Strangely this created 384×240, the surplus 24 pixels repeating the first ones. These have of course been cropped off.

Each screenshot below will take you to a gallery.
